BlueTooth not working

I was using my Bluetooth in the morning and all was working fine, but later in the day it wouldn't connect or detect. I have a bold 9900 and although I turn on my Bluetooth the blue led light doesn't flash. It says my Bluetooth is on but I don't think its working at all. Please help!
