Hi, I cannot get my Blackberry Desktop Software to connect to my Blackberry Bold 9900 smartphone using bluetooth. The Desktop Software detects the Bold 9900 using bluetooth but it just says I need to Troubleshoot my connection - the Desktop Software just won't connect to the phone using bluetooth and I subsequently cannot exchange media between my phone and my PC. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hey Stormshock62,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Please review the following article that provides two possible causes to why the BlackBerry Desktop software cannot communicate with the BlackBerry 9900 smartphone using Bluetooth:
"BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device" is displayed when attempting to synchronize organizer data between BlackBerry a smartphone and BlackBerry Desktop Software via Bluetooth

Hi again, I have a DELL Inspiron N5010 latop so I suppose it might be a DELL bluetooth stack but I don't know how to verify that. Can you assist me in determining what bluetooth stack I have on my laptop?
Thanks,
Stephen.
