So I got a new Bold on friday, and got with it a BlueAnt Z9i bluetooth headset.
(Just to get this out of the way up front, this is both my first BlackBerry and my first Bluetooth headset, so I don't have much to compare it to.)
The headset syncs well, gives good range and reception, and is pretty clear (though I haven't tried it in high noise yet).
Now here's the question. When I hit the button on the headset, it goes to voice dialing.
How long is the average delay when doing this?
With this headset, there is up to a 10 second delay between pressing the button and the Bold acknowledging it.
Is this normal? Is there a simple setting to adjust? Should I look at getting a new headset and returning this one?
