Bold 9700 Sound card not working, hardboard issue??????

My bold 9700 has no sound working at the moment, it doesnt play ringtones, or message tones, and no music from the media!

I have taken the phone to a shop, and have tried changing the sound card to no avil, and they suggested a possible problem with the hard board.

Any suggestions on who/where i can get this problem checked by a reliable source?

Hi jellybean83,

 

Have you tried using headphones in your BlackBerry® smartphone to test?  Also, if possible, try connecting it to a Bluetooth® audio device to test as well?
