Hello All,

Last night while using my bb bold 9700,it just went off,came back on and then my bbm(messenger) was deleted,so i tried updating the OS which turned out to be a failure,unplugging my bb from my laptop minutes later it went off and the red light was blinking twice,charged it all night and symptoms still persist. can someone please help me out.

Remove the Battery and leave it out for about 2mins. Insert the battery and see if works. If this does not work, you can attempt the OS update again but this time with the battery out. When the process gets to "Loading Applications" insert the battery and let it go through to the end.

I hope you have a previous backup since you may not be able to retrieve your data

i removed the battery already,so id try your second option,i would try that now and see how it goes..... thanks

i've the same problem......

but it's still can't powering up....

is't from the hardware.....?...

or is there a another way to solve the problem?..... thanks...

As far as i can remember i just did an update and it worked fine. let me know if this works for you
