Bold 9700

Hi!,

I am using a BB Bold 9700 on OS 5, when I update my OS to 6.0, the application storage free memory goes automatically up and automatically down, I mean when I upgrade to OS 6.0 the available free memory would something 100 MB, if I look the same after a couple of hours it would show is me as 50MB or 40MB it keeps on getting reduced and automatically after going to the least it will go back to 100 MB. Previously I thought that's some third party would be the issue, I upgraded again and did not installed  any apps, but the issue was still continuing, so I had contacted the BB Service center, they informed me not to upgrade and use the default OS 5.0, then I don't understand why did RIM release the OS6.0 for 9700?.

Thanks

Yogesh

I concur, they shouldn't have released OS6 for the 9700, it's a huge memory hog and will only cause slowness and lag on your device. Stay on OS5.

Why did they release OS6 for the 9700?

I don't know. Why doesn't matter, does it? Just don't upgrade. :smileywink:

Re: Bold 9700

But RIM should give a proper solution if they have given the option to update.

Re: Bold 9700

And, it's where users lack, not taking advice from someone who knows what they (I) am talking about.
