Bold 9780 sync calendar with Outlook

I am trying to sync my calendar and contacts with Microsoft Outlook.  I go through the sync process and when I say okay it get the message "Microsoft Outlook is not installed on this system".  Why is it not recognizing my Outlook program?

Are you using the latest version of the desktop manager?

If not, get it from

http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

and try again

I have updated to the newest version but still get the same message

What version of Outlook do you have installed?
