                   If BlackBerry Desktop Software is offering the update then you can go with it , no problem with it but just do a backup of your device first as a precautionary measure.All update bring some fixes which improves radio signal as well as battery life . Bundle 2108 ( 7.1.0.746 ) working good for most users.

Updating our OS bundle will not lock our device to any Carrier if your device is already Unlocked then it will be Remain unlocked even after that OS update ,So no need to worry about that. Let us know if you feel any problem.

As promised, here I am to tell you I had so far no problems with my bold 9900 after upgrade to bundle 2108 (os 7.1).

It works great. It seems bactery life is better. For sure it has other good things but I have to discover them first.
