Ok. New os is a winner honestly. I hammered the social app last night with hardly any drain.

I agree mate it seems to have fixed the battery drain issue but 2 early to say

✓ it took 2-3 days for .474 to settle down on my phone. If .503 is the same then the battery is really looking good.

I didn't see anything new with 474 like I have straight away with 503

There were no obvious changes but the battery did get gradually better. Certainly beter than ver .353 was.

Read on google won't be long before RIM confirm the update for os7 which I hope will go that extra mile

I have a contact that already has the 7.1 source files from the 9810 in indonesia. They can't be ported to the 9900 yet though. It includes hotspot services.

Or you can get 7.1 hybrid for a 9700. Lol.

OS 474 and 503 are really more battery efficient. Idle those consume around 1%/h over wifi with 3G/2G/wifi on. Before it was between 3 and 4%/h.

I hope for futher improvements to have a full 2 day battery life.

Another update, I have been off charge since 10am this morning. 8hrs on and I am showing 60% battery left

This OS is looking good.
