As we all know and I have ask a few suppliers and as on the BB site under 9900  phone specs this is what we are suppose to get.

Fully charged

Battery:

1230 mAh removable/rechargeable lithium-ion battery

GSM Talk Time:

Up to 6.3 hours

GSM Standby Time:

Up to 12.8 days

UMTS Talk Time:

Up to 5.9 hours

UMTS Standby Time:

Up to 12.8 days

Audio Playback Time:

Up to 50 hours

Video Playback Time:

Up to 7.4 hours

And doesn’t sound like one of you guys get close to that. If wiped my phone disconnect it from the network put all the settings on low and just let it chill in the shade so it can’t get hot or anything didn’t touch it for 12h and the battery was dead maybe. Not talking about the play time Max 8-10 h, loses 20% battery life with auto on and off and will maybe last 3 days if I do a full power off and just let my phone stay off. Switched it on after 3 days and BAM battery 10 %. If I knew that its going to be like this would have slicked with my previous 8520.

Any suggestions.

Don’t think that even with OS 7.1 it will get close to the advertised specs.

Yes I would tend to agree. I don't know what test environment RIM used for the phone but it must have been amazing. Lol

I upgraded to 540... MASSIVE improvement!! From 8am until 4pm my phone would be sitting at 50% and that is switched to 2G. Under same usage and switched to 3G I am only at 85%!!!

hows 7.1 mate? Orange working ok on it?? I've just got home and downloading it now
