Click the link in my initial post. It's a detailed outline of the new features available in the new release. That said, I don't think there is any mention of improved battery life. They'd have to admit it was poor to begin with and that probably won't happen.
Really ?? then it's great that they're putting it in print and setting the expectation. For those that haven't lost COMPLETE faith in RIM this is likely just the news they've been waiting for !! For those of us following this thread, we all knew it was just a matter of time
My guess is, its the carriers that have been taking the brunt of the grief in regards to this phone's performance so it doesn't surprise me to see/hear that they are anxious to advise users there's finally been some action taken in response to their complaints !
AngelaAlejandro @baggiesss since that tweet:emails, dl'ing 2 50mb files, lots of internet use, & listening to 2 hrs of podcasts it went to 3.2% loss per/hr
