Ta. Not as quick as the 8520 then. Easily inside an hour.
Apart from the casing (tho not sure I like it wider), and the better keyboard, display and camera.... not sure how I would benefit from upgrading.

I use mine mostly for emails and BBM. Bit of browsing. the odd photo if I just wanna take something to email to someone.

It's free on a contract, but then I don't make all that many calls with it, so mmmmmmmmmmm...

Hence why I am unsure of the iP4S either,

If you use the standard charger possibly. I bought the fast charger (yellow plug), pretty much the old standard charger. And it charges in about half the time.

Your 8520 one is possibly the same output as the fast one.

The wider 9900 is harder to operate/type with one hand tham, say, the 9700.

Standard 9900 charger is 750mA- mistake

Fast charger- 2A output. Lol

I find it easier to type on, but harder to carry about than the 9700.

@simon- can understand your loss, I used it for locking the phone, as I do with my 8520. Instead I moved the lock icon up to the top on the home screen. Also I have an nfc smartcard setup and macro to lock the screen if I swipe over my wallet. Also I use a belt holster which also locks the screen on insertion.

There are apps that would let you setup one of the media keys as a shortcut for bbm etc.

If you press and hold the "a" key for approx. 3seconds, that will also lock your keyboard..

Thanks mike, a now shortcut I didn't know. I guess you you the same with the Q key changes the profile to vibrate?

Ahh, no. That just locks the keyboard, I mean actual code lock the phone. Can't stand the key lock. Not secure enough. Lol

width wise typing - I find my 8520 easy to typing on, but found the kb on the 9900 really nice.  Didn't like that the 'enter' key was a stretch tho.

I tend to type two handed but something type with one if I am busy with my mouse.... or holding the steering where... stationary of course!

iP4S was easier to type one handed than the 9900, but would it get more difficult to use than the BB, or become easier?

And would I be able to tolerate a 15 min gap for non push-enabled email accounts?
