Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

I am not preaching. Simply put my BB isn't very old. I find the battery fine whereas others have had one for longer therefore I would might experience the same problems in the future

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

The battery capacity I agree was too low. Should have had an 1500 or an 1800 battery. I know that if they get lots of use yes battery life is too short. Hopefully in their next release of phones they keep that in mind. I do like the size but would rather slighty thicker with a better battery.

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

Very true though. No problem. I will say this with the battery saver mode on all the time in OS 7.1 battery life is fair. Without it in OS 7.0 and backlighting set to 10% like in OS 7.1 it was bad. I usually now set it to 10 percent backlight and turn battery saver on all the time. Being that it's only a 1250 battery or so yeah it's not enough. I think they could have put a 1500 in the bold and would be the same dimensions.

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

As well I have had bad days with my battery. Made a few calls and left a few apps open. (Bb traffic and bb world amongst others. Now I am careful and avoid leaving apps open if I can help it.

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

By the way i still believe in RIM.

It offers great quality smart phones with excellent connectivity.

Bold 9900 is a great smart phone but sure not perfect.

Every thing is great in the phone except the dissapointing camera and battery life.

I find nothing special in Android devices except games :smileyfrustrated:

If you are interested in games surely RIM is not ur choice.

But honestly for anything else there is RIM, but still need skype plz :smileyhappy:

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

Lol....baggie loves his mobile chargers. Not sure why, too much time with them now I think. :smileyhappy:

I am still getting mine to last 12+ hours without charge no matter what I throw at it. Even using mobile hotspot for work didn't drain it heavily.

Tue my handset didn't drop below 60% all day, although did a long drive so it was on the car charger.
