Yes I would agree with that, from testing, the last 3 leaks have showed real improvement on the battery life, althought they do take a day or so to really show their true colours.
Here in US i loaded the leaked version on an ATT 9900. After a few hours, the phone section stopped transmitting; i could hear, but could not be heard. Had to drop back to the official release from ATT (7.0.0. bundle 2392). Anyone in the US on ATT have a better OS?
That's a very odd one, I have contacts all around the world and quite a few have moved to .402.
Never heard of that error, it can't even be the network as that sounds like your handset. Have you tried the release version 7.1.0.342 that most networks have gone for?
Thanks for the quick reply. I've just checked your blog and there's a link for most of the BB7 handsets. Does that mean that each specific download link will give you the software needed to have the same effect with all the BB7 handsets. For example if I downloaded the 9900 software and the 9810 software each version would be handset specific but will both handsets be affected the same way (i.e. improved battery life on both handsets)??
