Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

Hope this isn't too dumb a question but has the OS upgrade also addressed the problem with the phone bricking or is that a separate issue ?

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

It can stop bricking but I believe rim are looking at this with a diff update. As I have never had this handset do it I can't say it sorts the issue.

As for updating, use desktop manager it will backup your data and apps and then restore once the update is finished. ☺

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

Some networks have released it. If you are in the uk vodafone have released it. Best place to check is the blackberry carrier download site. If not add me on bbm and I will send you a link to a download site, don't think I can share on the rim forum. :smileyhappy:

Re: Bold 9900 Battery Life

I am using the generic release on orange. The network always seem to make you think you need their software but with Blackberry's and carrier related apps tend to be pushed out anyway.

You tend to find the OS's leak before the networks release them. Sometimes week. Although .540 has only been leaked about 2 weeks. :smileyhappy:
