I have what appears to be a charging issue with my Bold 9900, but it only seems to occur when the battery indicator is red. If I plug it into a mains charger with the battery indicator in a red state, it does charge but seems to crash somewhere in the charging process - I usually leave it to charge while I'm asleep and when I check in the morning there the red light is slowly flashing, the trackpad also lights up briefly but nothing else happens - so far only a battery pull fixes this, and when powered back on is the battery seems to have charged to around 80% life before it keeled over.
So far the only solution I can see is to never let the battery get to a red level, It has happened on two different mains chargers so I don't think its the charger. I have spoken to Vodafone who suggested trying a new battery, but a quick Google around seems to imply it is a firmware issue ?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you ^^
