Bold 9900 - Email set up, activation.

I've had my new Bold 9900 two days. managed to transfer all my contact numbers across - and phone works well. However, I can't seem to get the email side of the Blackberry to work. I have the email account and password from work, and it tells me it is trying to activate. An email is sent to the server, which says:

"This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server."

I have tried talking to my provider by visiting one of their shops and they were only interested in helping iPhone customers, and was advised to dial a help number. 45 minutes of being on hold was enough.

 

Can ayone tell me how to activate this phone and set up my email account. I had no problems with my old 9000. Setuo was so easy. Look forward to any assistance or advice.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

I would recommend contacting your IT department or BlackBerry® Enterprise Server administrator to assist with the enterprise activation you are trying to initiate. This KB article should provide more information on why you are receiving those messages on your BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone.
