I have two GMAIL accounts that used to have two different folders on my phone. So text messages appeared in the messages folder along with bbm, whatsapp and fb, while emails appeared in their respective folders. A few days ago these email folders disappeared and now everything shows up in the messages folder... I can't seem to find the option to separate the emails again. When I enter the messages folder, then go options, inbox management, i can only select text messages to appear not to appear... Could somebody please help?

in the email management, delete the GMail accounts and readd them.

I have this same problem and have tried deleting my Gmail account and readding it but new mail always shows up in the general messages folder.  I have another POP email account that when added creates a new folder and all new mail shows up in it just fine.  But Gmail won't.  Thanks for any help on this.

delete all your email accounts, then reboot the device. Does the email still appear?
