Bold 9900 - Touch functionality does not work

I have a Bold 9900. Suddenly, the touch functionality has gone from last evening. Can somebody please help ?

All you have to is

 

1. Take out your battery and Sim Card

2. put the battery only back in the phone and reboot the phone( once you reboot the touch screen should start working)

3. power down the phone, take the batter back out, put the sim card and the battery back in, and power up and you should be good to go
