Starting yesterday I began having trouble viewing FB notifications in my BB Message folder. The notification comes in saying "Posted by Facebook User in 'Unknown Album'. It has a date of December 31, 1969 7:00 PM. This posts for all notifications. I haven't changed a thing related to my settings. It won't let me see the notification. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but the problems continues. Any suggestions?

By any chance have you installed the new beta Facebook app from BlackBerry BetaZone?
The one released yesterday?

JSanders: No I didn't. I've had the FB app on my phone for a while. I've done updaes occassionally via the BB App World. This just started happening yesterday "out of the blue". I was wondering if this might be an app issue, since I didn't install or otherwise ammend anything on my device.
Thanks

I'm guessing this could be a virus or other type of issue.
There is no virus yet created to affect BlackBerrys. That's not the problem.
Likely it's some bug in the app or the connection to the FaceBook servers. Facebook changes things, and the FaceBook for BlackBerry developers have to run to catch up and figure out what's the change, and make tweaks to the application, beta test, etc.

ah, ok. A different definition for virus. That's such a dirty and alarming word, I wouldn't use it where you don't mean it.
Anyway, I do think this will clear up.
