Bold 9900, second email account acting strange

Hi hi,

I just upgraded my BB Torch to BB Bold 9900 one month ago and have this strange problem which I did not have with my former BB.  I have two accounts on my BB that is my work email and my private.  My work email works just fine but my private one is acting very strange.  This is what is going on:

 

1. I can send email from my account

2. I receive spam mail

3.  But I DO NOT GET MY NORMAL WHITE LISTED MAIL hrmppffffff

 

I have tried to set it up again, not worked, I have wiped the phone and then set it up again same problem.  Just to be clear that I did not have this problem with the BB torch.  I am receiving my mail to the webmail and as per my provided then all is fine with my account.  Then I talk to my IT dpt and they say nothing wrong with BB server.  

 

Can someone help me, I getting BOLD not be able to solve this

Help me out with a little more info,

 

What email accounts are they both, exchange and hotmail?

Hi, no this is not hotmail this email from Vodafone in Iceland with a ending mmedia.is   My work mail which is working fine is exchange

On the personnal email folder click bb button, scroll down to veiw folder and see if you have some other options there, ie spam, ok email folders etc.

 

If my emails are seperated into folders the default folders need setting up

under my work mail are folders but under my private one is nothing

1.on the home screen click the email icon

2.press the bb key>options>email preferences

3. If the message services field appears set this to the relevant email account

4.bbkey >folder redirection track pad ket to expand the tree. (press bb button in the check box area then folder redirection and select the correct folder to redirect) (expand the folder tree and select and deslect which folder to display usingthe bb button and return functions)

5press bb button and save

 

Please click like and resolved if this is the error

ok, but I can not tick/select into the inbox or spam box when i am in the folder redireciton

Highlight the one you wish to receive on you phone, (click the track ball) it should turn blue press return arrow once changes are made and then save

 

And then uncheck the spam one to clear before exiting :smileyhappy:
