The other night I scheduled a software update to begin at 2am and by 7am it was still trying to accomplish it. Ultimately it finished and seemed to work fine for a few hours. As the day went on more and more thing became difficult or impossible, and today I can hardly do anything with it--buttons wont work, key commands won't work, etc. Some do, some don't. I can recieve emails, texts, and phone calls. I can make phone calls if I can get to the phone function. WEb browser works correctly, IF i can get it open.
I have taken out the battery multiple times as an attempt to restart it, often after getting to a spot where it was completely locked up. When it restarts, windows appear that say "Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.wait For (0x5364ff2940fa3920) timeout" and "Uncaught expection: java.lang.NullPointer Exception." The second on often freezes the device, as the OK button won't work and get rid of the window.
Is there a "hard restart" I can do to completely start over? Can I re-install the softward update? I have no idea what software version I had before or what I have now. Just know its not worked right since I did it.
thanks!
