My Bold crashes about once a day (O2 and Software version 188.8.131.52). As a doctor on call this is rather unacceptable since I don't know when it is permanently off line (it sometimes never restarts and needs the battery removing). Makes for a quiet life but not good for the customer.
I found some help (ie reduced crashes to once a day) by switching off 3G.
It seems to happen more often when I am on the move, perhaps we pass radio frequency interference, perhaps switch from mast to mast - I don't know.
I feel rather as the first contributor, that as a business phone this isn't good enough.

All, I say this will some inside knowledge of the issue and having worked with the carrier internally to correct my issues. It sounds like your profiles may still be set to GSM. You will need to make sure you ask AT&T to update your IMEI number and SIM to ensure your profile is UMTS (3G). The network translation between AT&T and handheld code 4.6 will “confuse” the bold if your profile is still set to GSM. This confusion will cause the Bold to reset itself.

My phone, doesn't seem to display anything.. All i have is a Blank White screen, but i cannot see the spinning Egg timer which you normally see when you take out and replace the battery.... Ive removed it several of times, and it still wont display anything. this has happened previously, and seemed to resolve when i constantly removed and replaced the battery, but surely this is not the answer for a legendary phone??? The phone turns on, but there is nothing on the screen, just white. Please can you help me get the display etc corrected. I have updated my software, but i stil dont no what is the problem.
