I've had the Bold for a couple of weeks.  Until today it's been fine.  Now, it will not restart when I take it out of the holster.  The only way seems to be to reset and reboot (take out and replace the battery).

Can anyone help?

Normal profile, battery almost fully charged, data off (because I'm roaming).

You can restart the device holding 3 keys , the left ALT, the right aA and the Del.

Why you supose the device restarted taking out the device?

Thanks for the restart option.  

It was why the 'phone stopped that I was looking to resolve.  For the moment I can avoid using the holster, but that doesn't seem a great long-term solution.

When it dies, it dies.  The combination above does nothing at all.  It's not every time, but often enough to be a real pain.  Sometimes it just reboots without me touching it.

I must admit I expected something better from a BB - it's one of the main reasons for moving away from a Windows based phone.

i have the same problem, my bold restart , and i fixed upgrading the software, to check if you have any upgrade go to this link

I already updated to 4.6.0.126 a couple of weeks ago as per instructions from Vodafone.
