Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

It takes only a few minutes to try.

I can't disagree with anything in your last post.

Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

Simon, I've helped with you quite a few things over the years. I don't take it personal. I know that's just your personality, and that's not being rude either, just what it is.

BBM sucks your memory down. It just does. Try the latest version as John has advised or not.

But it's gonna lose memory.

Replacement 9900 in first class post.
We'll see if that has the same issue. And if I were a mad Twitter person, who hashtagged everything, I'd say with some cynicism .... #probablyafter3.

It will still lose memory unless you manage it closely.

Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

If it still happens, I've had it confirmed that I can return for a full refund.

I shouldn't have to "monitor" it at all.

I understand that I do, hence installing that app.

But if I have to monitor it all day, then this person will no longer be a Blackberry owner.

Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

I never monitor mine all day long.

Just a quick glance a couple of times a day, or some users use an app like MeterBerry to alert when it gets too low.

I know, I know... you're not going to do that, you're sick and tired of BlackBerry issues and ready to move on.

Why don't you get a Z10?

Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

I didn't know about that App.  I'll try it.

And  yeah, am really sick of this.  It should be happening anyway.  I still am a big supporter of Blackberry, and what was 'RIM'.  But when these problems continue, and are clearly known, and they haven't sorted it, knowing it can delete emails, texts etc, it's a very very big issue (or flaw) in the OS.

I don't like the Z10.

I like the design, the structure and feel of it, tho I am not a far of the wider taller phones.

They did need to change the OS, but I don't like that you have to slide thumb from bottom to top to go back, and to go home.  Like so many phones, I like to just click a button to do that simple thing.  Wish that's had a 'BB' button to go home.

And I wish they had given the option of a side button to pop out the 'hub'.  Click... view... click to close.  Rather than having to use your thumb in an odd position.

But that is what it is all about for them.  For some people they can do it with one hand on that device; I tried and can't.  And lady in shop I spoke with, said she found it very difficult as well.  Dead easy with two hands, but not with one.

Hence why I am looking toward something more "fruity" should this problem exist on the replacement.

You think you won't be using your thumb to slide and swipe on an iPhone? buahahahahahahaha

Re: Brand New 9900 Application Storage Error

I will be to unlock it, abt 2 inches at a comfortable place. But yes I wish that could be disabled.
That tho is a lock feature. And I could just 'click' to go home; not do an unnatural slide from bottom to abt 4 inches up. And same for 'back', tho am told some Apps have a back link.

I don't understand what you're referring to there.
