For the last couple of weeks I've been having browser issues. I can't seem to navigate past the first page that loads after the "Go To" launch page. For example, I can select the YouTube bookmark, and the YouTube homepage will load but whenever I try to click on any of the links (the little hand icon does show up) nothing happens. It's as if it doesn't recognize that there is a hyperlink there.
Did I screw up a setting?

In this case i would recommend wiping the BlackBerry smartphone. To do this we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry smartphone. Click on the Backup and Restore button and select Back Up. Please note the location where the backup is being saved as we will need to access it later to restore the BlackBerry smartphone.
Once backed up please follow the link below to perform a security wipe of your BlackBerry smartphone.
Test the BlackBerry smartphone and proceed with a selective restore as outlined below.

THis has happened to me a couple of times, I pull the battery while the device is on, replace, and wait for it to boot up. Then I can click on links again.

I also have the same problem with the browser links. I logged on to my facebook account last night and all links are working well ( for example: HOME, INBOX, PROFILE etc.). Then after that i logged out. The next morning I logged in to my FB account again, the page opened but when i clicked on the HOME or INBOX links, its not working anymore. I wonder what happened. I did not change any setting on my phone. This is getting really complicated. Please help. Thank you.

This is a peer to peer support forum,
have you tried a battery pull while device is on?
Does it still persist?

Just this morning I found the solution to all our common problem ( "facebook links the next morning not working"). What I did was I opened the MESSAGES icon on my BB (not the SMS and MMS) and the I found the link on fb with which those links are not working. I deleted those messages on the MESSAGES icon, specifically the links (which I think where the browser goes) and then i went on to check my fb, and all went back to normal again. I hope this works for your BB too. And I am still hoping that someone from Blackberry would comment about this.
