CHANGE NUMBER OF RINGS BLACKBERRY BOLD

I have a BB Bold and am trying to get it to ring from the first time a calls is received. At the moment it vibrates twice before ringing. I would like to change the ring time to 30 seconds. Am with Telaustralia Phone Company on Optus Network and their supports has been great but it appears the phone wont accept the method for changing ring time. I used this process.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can change on the phone?

My Carrier: VerizonWireless

Hi that is handled entirely by the carrier. There are no settings on the BB.

Sorry! I just had to go round with Verizon to get the max which is 30 seconds!

Thanks,

Re: CHANGE NUMBER OF RINGS BLACKBERRY BOLD

You can actually do it yourself, heres an example

Telstra Message Bank Users:
**61*101*11*25# (Press Send)

Telstra Memo Service Users:
**61*102*11*25# (Press Send)

OPTUS Message Bank Users:
**61*321**25# (Press Send)

The 25 represents the amount of seconds you want to increase the ring duration to.

For other carriers, just substitute the second lot of numbers with your standard voicemail number.
