Calendar can't figure out date change across time zones.

Steps to repeat: Setting a calendar appointment for Monday Beijing/Hong Kong at 10:00 am schedules the appointment for Monday 7:00 pm Pacific (phone's time zone) when it should be Sunday 7:00 pm Pacific. This happens with every single appointment I schedule with Beijing/Hong Kong, making the feature worthless.

Hey openletter,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

What version of device software are you currently running on the BlackBerry Bold 9000 smartphone?  Type myver in a message and hit the spacebar to get this information.

If you send the appointment using a different email address, does the same issue happen?

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Calendar can't figure out date change across time zones.

The phone is a 9900 running 7.1.0.862, but I have had the problem with every version on this phone.

I am scheduling the appointment without emailing anyone. However, for some reason it is suddenly working! Lol. I know that I've been having this issue forever. Is it possible there is some app not currently running that interferes?
