Cannot Access BB Messenger Icon/Folder

BBM came preloaded on the Bold. For some reason I cannot open the BBM icon. The main screen shows that I have several contact requests, but it will not allow me to open the icon/folder. Can I delete BBM and reload the app?

If you have your handheld OS downloaded and installed to the pc, desinstall the applicaton, go to desktop manager, application loader and install it again.

Hello

No application opens when I press the BlackBerry Messenger key!!

At the begging the BBM was working normally but one day I was not able to open the folder anymore. On the main screen I can see someone is talking to me but I can't open the app in order to answer What can I do??

I'm new whith Blackberries, so I dont know what's "handheld OS" and how to manage my phone through my computer.
