Hi,

i had a friend's bold cant dial numbers to call a person,

instead numbers to call, it becomes function keys...

do you know what to do? any setting to set off the func keys?

Your friend probably disabled the dial from home screen function. To enable this, press the dial button (green call sign),  click the menu button > options  > general options > set dial from home screen to 'no'. Save and you should then be able to dial from the home screen.

Instead numbers dailed become function keys.
