call up Tmobile and they will guide you. or you can use these steps:

1) download blackberry desktop manager :
http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1402
2) backup your information :
http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1196
3) run application loader to update software to 6.0 :
http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-2072
