Re: Change exchange mail username.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

If, by "exchange", you mean BES, then you need to go see your BES admins.

But if you mean something else, please be a bit more explicit...the part before the @ is an integral (and mandatory) portion of your email address. If that is wrongly configured to your BB, then you need to remove and re-integrate the correct email address.

Good luck!

Re: Change exchange mail username.

By exchange I mean corporate mail account.

For example: I have a email account john@test.com

by corporate settings I need to put the user name "test\john" but blackberry options is only john on user name and I can't change it.

Re: Change exchange mail username.

That definitely sounds like corporate/BES...so you need to talk to your BES admins as they are in control.

They can't change anything? That's a bit difficult to understand...for they can control everything.

Have they given you any useful advice at all? After all, are they not responsible for delivery of your BES services to your device?

This is so far very confusing indeed...BES admins who don't want to help their users...sad...

FYI -- There is a BES section of this site that your BES admins can seek help from other BES admins if they need it.

And PS -- iPhone and Android don't use BES, so they are irrelevant here...
