I bought one of the awesome looking charging pods for my 9930-- but it doesn't charge my phone. The battery icon indicates that it is charging when I place the phone in the pod and the pod will activate bedside mode (when I have that function activated), but I have left it over night and the battery does not charge.
Hiya! Does your phone charge using the normal wall charger? and do you have another phone you could test the pod with?

your new charger might not have the exact power to charge it........As I have a 9700 and when i charge it from my laptop, it needs over to 12 hours to charge....
Well in that case, you are using a different power source, not that pod. the issue does seem to be with the pod itself.

Nope, If it was the phone contacts, no charger would function

But I don't use the contacts on the base of the phone when I charge USB so I have no way of verifying if something is wrong with them. I plan on exchanging the pod for a new one to see if that fixes it.
oh sorry, I thought you mean the internal ones. But they go to the same location in the end.
