Yeah, I just received my charging pad from Verizon.  I just purchased the Bold 9930.   When I place the phone in the charging pod nothing happens, when I pull it out the battery starts to show the charge lightning bolt.  Basically, something very wrong is happening.

 

Other times nothing happens and if I pull it out and back in a few times it begins to charge....bottom line, I regret buying this phone and will return it for an iPhone that works properly.

So I got a new charging pod. When I put the phone on it I can hear charge (a high frequency sound comes from the charging plug in the wall) but two nights in a row now-- no charge.

The phone goes into bedside mode, the battery icon indicates it's charging, but 7 hours later, nothing.

i have the exact same problem...everythign charges fine when plugged via usb. when i use the charging pod (using same as plug, plugging to the pod), it stops charging after 20 seconds and displays a strange plug icon where the battery is...i tried a new pod charger too and does the same thing...seems like a common issue..

Just wanna say I have a 9900 with a charging pod that does not work as well. Charges for 20s then shows the plug, will exchange with a new one on monday. =(
