Connecting NEW BB to Desktop Software

Hi there,

 

Lost BB Bold, replaced with BB Torch.  Now I can't access the Desktop Software I've installed for old BB.... how do i connect my new BB?

What exactly do you mean by you can't access the Desktop Software?  Are you opening it and it's just not opening or is it opening but your new phone isn't being recognized?

hi - i can open dektop software... and i know the laptop is recognising my BB.... but most of the options aren't available  and the front initial screen says "Connect your Blackberry device" - the troubleshoot options aren't helpful either.

If it says "Connect your BlackBerry Device", then your phone is not being recognized by the software.  Try this:
