Connecting my Bold to PC

I know this question has been asked before and if I recalled it's been answered. But that was long time ago and I forgot the solution.

When I connect my phone to my PC, I couldn't access my Bold from my Windows Explorer. On my old Bold,  I could access drive G: and H: (my phone and media card). But my new bold does not appear on my Windows Explorer.

How do I fix this problem?

Help will  be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Connecting my Bold to PC

You want to enable mass storage mode on the device. Options, Memory. You should see several settings there related to it.

Re: Connecting my Bold to PC

I doubt that thread is the answer to my problem. You see, my PC and my DM software and everything used to work on my old bold. But it doesn't work on my new bold. Any other solution?

Re: Connecting my Bold to PC

Finally found the solution after going through 31 pages of this forum. I knew there was a solution somewhere which I forgotten.

It has something to do with using software unlocking BB Bold and somehow the Mass Storage was messed up and PC Windows Explorer won't be able to recognized it.

I've fixed it now after downloading and running the batch file. My PC now happily recognized drive G: and drive H:, which are my BB and its mass storage media.

For those who has the same problem,  most likely it's caused by unlocking the phone using a 3rd party software which totally messed up your mass storage. Not caused by "USB driver for Blackberry" problem.

Here's the thread

And here's the thread where to download the batch file to activate your mass storage.
