My Device: Blackberry Bold 9900

Date problem

On my Blackberry Bold 9900 the date on the phone is correct but the date shown when I go in on my text messages isThur 01//03/2046. I have removed battery and SIM put it back it then shows current date. I come out and it goes back to the 2046 date.

 

I stress the device time shows as correct

I would suggest creating a backup of your data through BlackBerry Desktop Software and then follow the steps in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

 

Test the date settings prior to restoring any data.
