My friend I had the same problem, I live in Ecuador, You have to send your blackberry to Canada to Rim in order to get te warranty but that is something impossible because RIM or Blackberry doesn't have a customer service.
Same thing happened to me. The phone is less than 2 weeks old. Left to be charged overnight. The morning, I found the phone is dead. I am in the process to get the warranty service. Since I bought internally unlocked, the customer service is none. Will take time.
hi all, are u still use base os (7.0.0.2xx) when overcharging ur 9900 untill dead? my friend have same problem here, i tried to reload os or wipe but the phone can't connect to pc more than 4 second. i think 9900 have bad ic power
Left my month-old bold 9900 charging overnight and it would not start this morning. Red light for 4 seconds and black for 20 seconds, on and on. Tried to repair with Blackberry Desktop Software (downgrade to 7.0) but no go, after 6 attempts. Cycles on and off, and says downgrade failure. Lost lots vids and pics of my family. Big sad. If you have new Bold, do not charge overnight and back up after each and every important set of pics.
