Delay in receiving Microsoft Exchange email

my bold 9900 receive exchange mail around 10-15mins later than desktop outlook.  could it be faster?  and can i sync the contact and calendar without connecting via USB?  pls help.

Unfortunately, from the information you provided, it's impossible to clearly answer as it depends not on your email system (Exchange) but rather what that is facing to the internet for the BB to communicate with (Exchange itself never faces the internet...only other things that link back to Exchange do). So all I can do is provide you with possibilities...you will need to choose which one actually applies to your specific situation.

 

  1. If your interface for the BB is BES/Enterprise, then you need to talk to your BES Admins.
  2. If your interface for the BB is POP, IMAP, or OWA, then you cannot improve the delivery time:

I am using BIS. I read a lot article and accepted that the delay has no solution. but it was really disappointed cause Android has almost no delay. by the way, wireless sync for g calender also has delay. so disappointed.

Disappointment and WAD (Working As Designed) are separate discussions. Comparisons to other platforms are only useful when one is making their choice as to which to purchase...comparisons after purchase are less useful.

I've never tried it, and recall only very few discussions on this site concerning it. You might try searching the site to see if you can find anything useful.
