Device Switch Wizard freeze...



I'm switching from a curve 8320 to a bold 9700 using the device switch wizard. It's gone through all the initialisations and so on, and is now uploading data to the bold 9700, but has since stopped doing anything. I am concerned that 1) the battery on the 9700 may be dead (but assumed it would be charged via usb), 2) It has been about an hour now, and out of 9 tasks, has only completed downloading the system software. 


Below is a screenshot of the window. Nothing else is happening, and the 9700 is not responding at all. I'm wary of disconnecting it and trying again because of the very apparent warning on the switch wizard. Any advice would be very, very welcome!

Personally, I'd leave it to do that phase about an hour. If nothing progresses, cancel or remove the USB cable from the device.


At that point, you may need to use JL_Cmder to wipe the device and subsequently load the OS to the device. Follow the instructions here:
