Email Set Up option is not working from mobile

 

I went into the setup app and tried to access the Email Accounts application. When I click on it nothing happens. It doesn't open or anything.

By using my carriers BIS site I have been able to add my personal email accounts to my device but I need to access the Email Accounts settings in order to complete the sync for Gmail calendar and address book.

In Order to use Email Services  we need a BlackBerry Data Plan ,Can you confirm that you hold that on your Account .

Yes, I do have BIS plan, I am able to and receive emails. The emails are set up using carrier portal.

 

If I move this SIM card to my other phone, Torch 9860, I am able to add / edit the email accounts from Set Up.

 

I realised that problem is only with 9900.

Hello Sainkr

 

 

           If you have a BIS on your account then from your BlackBerry Browser go to www.blackberry.com/integrate  add /edit your email account, See if that helps.

As I mentioned earlier, I am able to integrate my emails through web (computer or mobile)

 

What I can't do is, edit the email accounts from MOBILE, that is required for syncing purposes.

Hi Sainkr

 

                    Please Try a Battery Pull Restart like this Device POWERED ON remove the Battery wait a min. then reinsert it back after the device reboots see if works.
