My BB 9780 was working fine up until a few weeks ago and then my emails stopped.
I did not add any app or change anything
I tried that service book registration thing, taking out battery, deleting emails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now at all) and nothing
So any idea?
I'm getting tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise this thing will become a big paperweight

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
I know you said you tried some things, but I'm not sure if you've done exactly these steps. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS configuration for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.
Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a shot

This doesn't work.
I deleted the email accounts in the service book - that worked as the email icons disappeared.
I created new email accounts and hit the 'send service etc...'
BUT nothing every came back. No new email icons were created.
So now I have no email icons at all, although when I go into 'create email accounts' they're there
Any other ideas?

everything seems fine up until
"Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service"
I did that and nothing ever comes back.
I hit that button half dozen times, nothing
Any other ideas?

btw: why is there a "solved" sign - this problem is not solved!
just because you copy and paste a possible solution does not mean the problem is solved

Anyone else have this problem and have any idea how to resolve it?
I'm not asking for anything fancy, just to be able to receive emails. I would think in this day and age, that's a bare minimum for a phone.
