Email problem on Bold 9900

Hi,

 

starting from last week I wasn't able to send/receive email. Running the email account management I got server down.

 

I've already tried both to reinstall the app and to downgrade to the previous OS version, but the same problem occurs.

 

sw version 7.1 Package 2061 (v7.1.0.714, Platform 5.1.0.532).

What app are you trying to reinstall?

There is no "app" for email. It is integrated into the OS. There is an integrated email setup app but you can't uninstall it.

I would contact Vodafone and have them check your BB data plan.

You are correct, the app is integrated, but using BB Desktop software you can unistall it.

OK, so you can uninstall it using BDM. It doesn't really remove email but no matter. Your issue is mist likely your data plan with your carrier. You need to contact them.

I'm having the same problem. Mine started a couple of days ago. I have AT&T and my email provider is Frontier. Everything else works fine. This has never happened before.

This is my business account. I've never had a data plan issue before and I would have expected a notice that exceeded or was about to exceed my data plan. I'll check though.
