I have just recently bought a BlackBerry Bold 9000 and when trying to set up email connections (by connecting to my office email provider/server) through our local mobile phone operator I realised my BB has only one option showing - BlackBerry Enterprise Server option. The other option (Blackberry Internet Service option) is not available. When I checked on another phone, BlackBerry Pearl, it had two options.
As a result it has not been possible to set up an email connection. Instead I have to check my emails vide the web. I have been advised by the phone operator that I need to have the BlackBerry Internet Service Option to connect because that option supports individual/single users.
Is this correct? How can I get BB Bold to have the missing option installed or how do I go about to solve my problem?
Incidentally I am based in Africa - Tanzania
