Error 507

I was trying to download OS6 onto my BB and the device  just froze. Doesn't reboot at all. It displays "Error 507  - Reload Software" on the screen. What do I do?

Error 507 means your phone does not have any os to boot.

 

Connect your phone to Desktop Manager and you will be prompted to update.

 

Proceed with the update process and your Blackberry would be working, although all your data has been lost on your phone. The only to recover is from a backup already made either on your computer through Desktop Manager or through Blackberry Protect app.

Hi,

I have the same problem to, and no solutions until now.
I've done those steps (connected with Desktop Manager and try to update) but don't work... my BB restarts and display the page error again "Error 507 - Reload Software"

Can you help?

Download and install blackberry device software for your phone by choosing your network and then your phone from the drop down menu. Download the first available software: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

 

After installing, do not start desktop manager.

 

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe

 

OR

 

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe

 

and install the os on your phone.

Thanks for your help.

I have done that.

When it was updating my device display again the same error 507 :-(

The loader app says that it can't connect to the device...

Hi I have tried to do everything that you posted in here, i manage to load app loader it picks up my phone but when I get to the stage where I must select the software to download onto my phone it tells me that the software is not compatible with my device, I have downloaded os 5 and 6 for the bold 9700 and yet I still get the same error message, could it be that my laptop is the issue, please let me know so that I can rectify this.

Are you positive you have 9700 device model?
Look at Options > Device > About
