I am currently trying to install os update Version 7.1 Bundle 1310 on my Bold 9900 on the Rogers Nework,.
I have attached a screenshot of the error message that I keep getting,. My internet connection is fine. The same message pops up always when the download reaches module 731.
Can anyone assist me with this? Roges was their typical useless bunch and was unable to provide me with any real support.
Thanks.

Hey, this is a wireless upgrade being performed directly on the device?
You are not using the BlackBerry Desktop Software, connected on a PC?

I should have clarified. This is an upgrade being done from Desktop Manager. I ensure that I was running the latest version of desktop manager.

I would recommend downloading the OS file from the Rogers site directly. Here's how to do it.
1. Download the OS from here: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry
2. Double click the OS file you downloaded to install it to PC.
3. Navigate to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and double click on "loader.exe"
This runs the basic loader shell and is more reliable than the Desktop Manager upgrade process. It will make a backup before updating the OS but it never hurts to make a manual backup with Desktop Manager just to be sure.
Good luck!

^^ Agreed with John, and that was to be my suggestion.
You have greater control over the download, separately from the install.

Thank you both gentlemen ... this method resolved my issue and it looks like the operating system was succesfully installed/updated and the device and all applications are working fine.
