Error message on Word to Go and Sheet to Go

I am receiving an error message when I endeavour to use Word To Go and Sheet To Go.

 

The error message is basically the same for both Word To Go and Sheet to Go.

 

It reads: -

 

"Error starting WordToGo47:Module 'DocsToGoCommon47' not found"      and

"Error starting SheetToGo47:Module 'DocsToGoCommon47' not found"

 

Has anyone encountered similar difficulties?

It appears that some modules have been deleted or have been corrupted somehow. Docs to go apps can be re-installed via BlackBerry Desktop Software. Connect your phone to your PC with the USB cable and go to the Applications screen. Find the apps in the list and uninstall the apps and then reinstall them again.. This procedure should repair the installation.

Sadly, the two applications do not appear in the device application list!!

 

My guess is that such is the case due to them not installing correctly on my 9780!

 

Can I uninstall/delete them on the phone and then reload them somehow on that device?  Or is it a case for Blackberry Support to assist me with?

Do you have the full version of the os installed? Some people have used a so-called hybrid os that omits certain files. I am not an expert on this but perhaps you need to reinstall an "official" version.

Thanks.  Not sure whether I have a "full" version or not but assume so as I got the phone from a bona fide dealer rather than "second hand" or similar.

 

I will revert back to my retailer/dealer and get them to have a look at it and see if they can "weave their magic" to solve the problem.

 

It is not causing me any great angst but I just like to have things thgat work correctly!  If I didn't have it, I wouldn't lose too much sleep about the matter in any event!!!
