Error with Google Sync and my Blackberry Bold

hi

i'm trying to sync with my google account (which has three calendars) and my BB and its not working.  constantly giving me errors that say that if it persists that I need to sign out and sign back on again - then it doesn't even let me sign out!

any help?

thank you!

Re: Error with Google Sync and my Blackberry Bold

I have the same problem while trying to use Gmail application or Google Sync.

Surprisingly, Google Maps seems to work for me. I'm using Blackberry Bold 9000

and on Vodafone (India).

Anybody knows the fix for this problem ?

Re: Error with Google Sync and my Blackberry Bold

It seems a bug of BlackBerry Handheld Software v5, not only in BB 9000 but also in other BBs which using v5. Sometimes, third-party softwares (google sync, google maps, gmail, opera mini, etc) just can not use data service anymore, but the BB Browser still works ok. It can be temporary solved by reboot your BB (alt+L shift+del). Many people have report this error but haven't seen RIM standed up and fixed the problem.

My recommendation is using BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6 instead of BlackBerry Handheld Software v5.
