[FIDO] SOS & Network Connections Drops [Intermittent]

[ Edited ]

Hey Guys.

Im having an issue with my unlocked Rogers Blackberry Bold that is on the Fido network.

I keep getting intermittent connection switching from;

3G, 3g, 2G, 2g, Edge, EDGE, GSM, gsm.... you get the idea

Im in an area where I have fully coverage, but seems that something is wrong with my BB. Prior to this all was working fine, never a problem til now.

I took my sister's sim card [Rogers] and placed into the BB, and it worked fine, was on the EDGE network but didn't drop or anything.

Also I am unable to view the "Network Technology" in the Mobile Network Options. What do I do?

I ran a diagonistic and here's what i got.

In Manage Connections > Mobile Network Options, do you have the Network Mode, that you can set to 2G only?

I just got the following error;

UICC Update Fail 2 (seems as though it could be the sim)???

Any thoughts?

I noticed tht the netwok drop will only happen when Im inside my house. Either in the basement or the main floor. If i am upstairs in the bedroom area, all is good...weird.
