Hi,

I just downloaded the facebook application and now I have a perminent "F" on my screen - does anyone know how to get this off please

you mean the icon F for facebook. You can hide it or delete the application by going to options>advanced options>applications and then highlight face book and push menu and choose delete.

Do you mean the f at the top this i think only appears when there is a facebook notification message or the like.

You can also delete an app if you have downloaded it by clicking the BlackBerry button on it when you have it highlighted and choosing delete application.
